Heidi Ruth Rader

1962 ~2024

Heidi Ruth Rader, 61, born April 2, 1962, of Empire, Michigan, died March 22, 2024, of pancreatic cancer. Heidi was a 1980 graduate of Glen Lake High and was a survivor of a traumatic brain injury in 1978. She showed courage dealing with her life-altering injury. She was preceded in death by her father Jack Rader in 1989 and her mother Mary in 2012. Heidi is survived by her brothers Jack Rader, Jr. and Robert Rader (Mary Welter) and two nieces and nephews. Heidi believed in diversity and kindness to animals. Memorial contributions to the Women’s Resource Center or the Cherryland Humane Society. Memorial service will be held at Glen Lake Church, 4902 MacFarlane, Glen Arbor on April 6 at 10:00.
