MORTGAGE SALE - Default has been made in the conditions of a mortgage made by Anthony J. Duperon and Barbara J. Duperon, Husband and Wife, original mortgagor(s), to Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems, Inc., Mortgagee, dated January 10, 2006, and recorded on January 18, 2006 in Liber 888 on Page 547, and assigned by said Mortgagee to BAC Home Loans Servicing, L.P. as assignee as documented by an assignment, in Leelanau county records, Michigan, on which mortgage there is claimed to be due at the date hereof the sum of One Hundred Forty-Four Thousand Seven Hundred Twenty-Six and 69/100 Dollars ($144,726.69), including interest at 6.875% per annum.
Under the power of sale contained in said mortgage and the statute in such case made and provided, notice is hereby given that said mortgage will be foreclosed by a sale of the mortgaged premises, or some part of them, at public vendue, at the place of holding the circuit court within Leelanau County, at 11:00 AM, on April 8, 2011.
Said premises are situated in Township of Solon, Leelanau County, Michigan, and are described as: Commencing at the Northeast corner of the Southwest One-Quarter of the Southeast One-Quarter of Section 21, Town 28 North, Range 12 West, thence Running South Five Rods, thence West Thirty-Two Rods, Thence North Five Rods, thence East 32 Rods to the Place of Beginning, and that part of: A Part of the northwest One-Quarter of the Southeast One-Quarter of Section 21, Town 28 North, Range 12 West, more fully described as follows: Beginning at the Southeast corner of the Northwest One-Quarter of the Southeast One-Quarter of said Section 21, Thence West 528.00 Feet, thence North 1 Degree 22 Minutes 30 Seconds East 25.00 feet, thence East 528.00 Feet, thence South 1 Degrees 22 Minutes 30 Seconds West 25.00 feet to the Point of Beginning.
The redemption period shall be 6 months from the date of such sale, unless determined abandoned in accordance with MCLA 600.3241a, in which case the redemption period shall be 30 days from the date of such sale.
