1944-2007

A funeral Mass was celebrated Friday at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Empire, and burial will be at the church cemetery in the spring, for Empire native Loretta A. Tobin who died March 13. She was 62.

She was born on Dec. 22, 1944, in Empire, to Harold and Shirley (Denny) Tobin. She was a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church. A homemaker, she loved animals and music.

She is survived by her siblings, Donald Tobin of Traverse City, John (Dorothy) Tobin of Honor, Norma (David) Marmie of Traverse City; and many other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a baby sister, Judith Marie.
