Empire to contract for part-time summer deputy

Annual meeting season starts

Cleveland 'pleased' by turnout
More than 50 people crowded into the Cleveland Township Hall for the township's Annual Meeting on Saturday morning – the first annual meeting of the season in Leelanau County.

Aaron Jolliffe, the son of Greg and Becky Nies-Jolliffe of Leland Township, has qualified to represent Leland School at the state level of the National Geographic Bee.
