TART Trails, Inc. announced last week that Bob Wick of Traverse City has joined the staff as director of development.

Wick, a former Elmwood Township resident, has served on the TART board since 2002 and was board president for the last two years. He will be responsible for major gifts to the annual and capital campaigns to help support TART projects.

One of the projects includes completing the paving of the Leelanau Trail, one of five trail systems in the TART Trails network.

Prior to joining TART Trails, Wick worked for eight years in the development office for Munson Healthcare Regional Foundation.
