The former "LeNaro Pub" building in Lake Leelanau – previously the "Key to the County" restaurant – will be auctioned to the highest bidder on Saturday, April 14.
The auction sale will include all the equipment, fixtures, furniture and a Class C liquor license formerly used on the premises.
The minimum bid is slated a $599,000, roughly half the appraised value of the real estate, equipment and improvements, according to Kevin Thompson of the Beth Rose Auction Group.
Although the building has been used as a restaurant, Thompson said, it is also “prime real estate for office space, an art gallery, a winery show room, retail space, and/or a banquet facility."
The auction is set for noon on April 14 on the premises of 104 Main Street in Lake Leelanau. More information can be obtained by contacting Thompson through the auction company’s web site at www.bethroseauction.com.
