News from Omena? Not much; most are still tucked in from winter. So let's think spring.
Warm weather, no snow, spring thunder showers, and morels and steak for dinner. Cherry blossoms. The landscape renewing itself. Ramps sprouting, filling with the air with the sweet smell of onions. A walk in the woods. Snowshoes in the closet, fishing poles out. A walk on your favorite beach. Snow birds returning from . . . wherever they go.
I am sure you have many spring things of your own. Embrace them as you enjoy spring in Leelanau County.
As you’re out and about …beware people of Michigan. The state has seen fit to turn Joshua Coste loose on the roads of our fair state.
