William Walter Buchan

Memorial services will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 10, at the Fellowship Church, 2555 Garfield Rd. in Traverse City, for William “Billy” Walter Buchan of Traverse City who died March 31. He was 22.

He was born Dec. 21, 1984. Surviving are his mother, Cindy (Ott) Buchan of Maple City, and father, Roger Buchan of Traverse City.

A graduate of the culinary arts program at the Career Tech Center in Traverse City, he enjoyed baking and cooking. He also enjoyed music and sports, especially playing pool and Frisbee golf with friends.

Also surviving are his brother, Brian, and sister, Barbara Buchan, both of Maple City; three stepsisters, Natalie, Charly and Tasha Sabin of Florida; grandparents Patricia Ott of Traverse City, Norm and Karen Buchan of Traverse City, Al and Anola Ott of Winter Park, Fla., and many other relatives.
