KATIE DRUMMOND gets a kiss from one of her two greyhounds, Starina, on the front porch of her Northport home. Starina and Gandolf (right) were rescued by the Michigan Greyhound Connection and adopted by the Drummond family. As part of Drummond’s senior project at Northport High School, a spaghetti dinner will be held on Wednesday, April 18, with proceeds going to help rescue abused greyhounds.
