Longtime Northport-area seasonal resident Trish Bryan was recently named as one of 10 extraordinary "Women of the Year" in the greater Cincinnati and northern Kentucky area by the Cincinnati daily newspaper, The Enquirer.
Bryan was noted for her volunteerism and fundraising for charities and the arts. She is chairman of the board of the American Classical Music Hall of Fame and serves with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra board of directors, among other organizations.
She and her husband, Rick, have been visiting the Northport area since the mid-1970s and have owned a cottage in the area since the 1980s.
