Glen Lake students will perform Midsummer Night's Dream on April 19, 20 and 21 at the school's Auditeria.
The musical is adapted from Shakespeare’s classic romantic comedy by Wade Bradford.
Much of the story takes place in a magical forest where the character Puck, played by Sara Watson, modernizes the dialogue as well as adding song-and-dance numbers. The play is directed by Cindy Leo, Brittany Mikowski is stage manager, and Pat Niemisto is band director.
Cast members playing key roles also include Ben Pina (Oberon), Emily Gordon (Titania), Emma Cook (Hermia), Katie Milliron (Helena), Vince Grimaldi (Demetrius), and Aaron Lloyd (Lysander). Also performing are Jordan Fink, Aline Berruyer, Shelby Ockert, Emily Peplinski, Alexa Leo, Maura Niemisto, Kaley Smith, Megan Thurkettle, Kasey Wilcox, Beth Cairns, Sabrina Galla, Hali Sobczak, Brian Hoedeman, Rhiannon Roberts, Jake Lewis, Devon Stiebe, Cheryl Askwith, Kyra Askwith, Trish Lootens, Colter Fatt and MacKenzie Roman.
