OK, I’m not going to mention the snow or the fact that Little Glen was almost frozen over again Monday, or that there is ice in the bay again. I’m not going to mention any of this and in fact I would bury my head in the sand, but it’s frozen.

I’m certainly happy that we got the boat ramp in and a fine job as usual was done by John Stanz and crew.

I’m sure everyone had a very nice Easter, although the bonnets were snow-covered.
The Easter Egg Hunt sponsored by the Community Reformed Church was interesting.

Organizers were unable to hold the hunt at the Alligator Hill Trailhead, so it took place in the Glen Arbor Township Hall. There were a whole lot of eggs on the floor of the gym and the kids came in two waves, with the youngest going first and olders kids following. I give the church credit for persisting and holding the hunt no matter the conditions. It will be better next year.

Get well wishes to Forest (Frosty) Bieard. I understand he is in the hospital after a fall and has pneumonia.

I thought I was done with this, but be careful on the ice.

It’s almost Dune Dogs time.
