Rebecca Humphries, director of the Michigan Department of Natural Resources, will be the keynote speaker at the Grand Traverse Area Sport Fishing Association’s (GTASFA) annual meeting and banquet this month.
Humphries, who has headed the DNR since 2004, will speak on the topic of conservation funding at the banquet, which will be held at the Hagerty Center in Traverse City on Monday, April 23. The doors will open at 5:30 p.m. for the event, which is open to the public. Tickets are $15.
The annual meeting will also include an update from GTASFA attorney Steve Schultz, games and raffles, children’s prizes, vendor exhibits, and dinner.
