I can't keep up. Spring, winter, spring, winter, rake, shovel, rake, plow. It's an adventure living in northern Michigan.
The Glen Arbor Women's Club tried to figure out the weather at their last meeting. The club had Dave Barrons, weatherman for 9 & 10 News, as a guest speaker. I always figure that my guess is as good as theirs. The meeting was held at Bonnie and Rich Quick's home, so at least he had a great view.
Speaking of the Quicks, happy birthday to Rich's mother, Mary Sheridan, who celebrated number 97. Also, birthday wishes to Fran Pendleton and Dorne Yeager.
The 2007 Glen Arbor Chamber brochures and walking maps have been delivered. If you would like a few, pick them up at Dune Wear.
There were a lot of boats on Big Glen this morning; something must have been biting.
What are the flags for near the bridge?
Don't forget that next Wednesday, April 25, is Administrative Professionals Day. There must be someone who cares.
Coming up, the Empire Lions Club Pancake Breakfast on April 29.
Think Dune Dogs.
Go Sox.
