1915-2007
Services were held Saturday for Cedar native Virginia Rosinski of Sterling Heights who died April 11 at her home. She was 91.
She was born June 20, 1915, in Cedar, the daughter of Joseph and Catherine (Witkowski) Fleese. On Aug. 31, 1935, at Holy Rosary Church in Isadore, she married Leon Rosinski, who preceded her in death.
She and her husband moved to Detroit but eventually built a home in Warren where they lived for 25 years. She was employed as a sales clerk for the J.L. Hudson Co. for 26 years, retiring in 1980.
Surviving are her five children, Norman (Gerre) Rosinski of Grand Blanc and Cedar; Ilene (the late Stan) Karasiewicz of Sterling Heights; Nancy (Bob) Ragap of Metamora, Raymond Rosinki of Hadley, and Linda (Richard) Wirz of Sterling Heights; a sister, Alice Gatzke of Cedar; a brother, Edward Fleese of Grant; 16 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her brothers, John and Raymond Fleese; and her sister, Genevieve Garvin.
