Dog Ears book store in Northport will host a writing workshop Friday with author Elizabeth Kane Buzzelli.

The workshop, scheduled from 7 to 9 p.m., will be held at Dog Ears new location, 106 Waukazoo. The title of the workshop is “Let’s Talk Fiction Writing” and will feature Buzzelli, a published novelist and journalist who has taught writing classes at Northwestern Michigan College and through the Michigan Writers group.

Participants are asked to bring pens, pencils, paper, ideas and creativity and be ready to talk about writing. Light refreshments will be served.
