Ecological restoration at the DeYoung Natural Area will be the focus of a program sponsored by the Leelanau Conservancy.
Docent Richard Fidler will talk about the Conservancy plans to control the invasive species that inhabit it at the natural area Friday.
On Thursday, May 3, docents Ann McInnis and Marsha Buehler will lead hikers exploring the habitats at the Kehl Lake Natural Area. Both events are scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.
