Northport students to give performance

Students in the Northport Public School afterschool program will present "An Evening of Dance and Song," Wednesday, May 16 in the Community Arts Center.

Students of music instructors Bill Cook, Cynthia Franseen, Jan Ostrowski and Steve Gilbreath will play a variety of piano, wind instrument and violin pieces. Other Northport students and community members will join them in presenting voice and dance selections.

The 7 p.m. event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.

The Northport Afterschool Program is funded by a 21st Century Community Learning Center Grant.
