More than 20 embroidered, appliqued and pieced quilts that were handmade by the St. Mary Parish Quilters of Lake Leelanau will be on display for viewing and sale over Memorial Day weekend in the parish hall.

There is no admission for the quilt show, which is open to all.

Hours for the annual show are Saturday, May 26, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Sunday, May 27, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.; and Monday, May 28, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

A hand-embroidered queen-sized quilt will be raffled Monday at 1 p.m. Tickets are $1 each or six for $5 and are available from quilters Ruth Kalchik and Rosalie Gaertner. Tickets are also available at parish and school offices and at the East Traverse Catholic Federal Credit Union in Lake Leelanau.

Proceeds benefit the church and school.
