CLAIRE WIESEN, a Glen Lake fifth grader, enjoys roasted asparagus at school Tuesday. The school, in collaboration with the Michigan Land Use Institute, purchased 90 pounds of asparagus from Harry Norconk, who farms just south of the Leelanau/Benzie County line.
