Art instructor Donna Johnston will hold a series of courses this summer at her home on Lake Leelanau.

She will hold a two-week paper-making class using cotton and linen June 18-29., Participants will learn the various techniques of pulling and couching paper, embedding leaves and flowers, and adding dyes.

Space is still available for this year’s course, and no experience is necessary.

Other courses offered are a ceramics class, two classes per week from July 9 through Aug. 3, and an introduction to watercolor.
