Sarah Kibbey of Maple City earned a letter after completing her second season on the Hope College track team.

Kibbey’s season-best triple jump measured 32-feet, 51⁄2 inches, the best effort of any Hope athlete. She also ran distance events for the Dutchmen.

Kibbey graduated from Glen Lake in 2005.

The spring season culminated a successful year of athletics for Hope as the school won the Commissioner’s Cup for having the best cumulative men’s and women’s program in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association. It marked the 29th time in school history that Hope has won the Commissioner’s Cup, the most of any MIAA school.
