The Narrows bridge on M-22 will be dedicated in the name of Carl Oleson on Friday, June 15, at 10:30 a.m. I would encourage any one interested to attend. Rep. Dave Palsrok and probably others will be in attendance to unveil the new sign.
Get well wishes to Irv Beck.
Happy birthday wishes to Bea Hodge and Terry Gretzema. Also to Betty Haney, who will be celebrating 93 years.
I understand that one of the last remaining fulltime residents of Dorsey Trailer Park has moved to Ohio to live with his daughter. Joe Griswold will miss the area and will be missed by many friends.
When I was a kid (I was), our summer trips were to California, Colorado, other states and possibly Mexico. The kids today are taking summer trips to Switzerland, Sweden, Paris, Argentina and other countries. How times have changed.
Happy anniversary to Kellie and Jimmy Gray.
One summer event is coming up. The 36th Annual Glen Lake Women’s Club Art Fair will be held Wednesday, July 18. There will be 90 artists with fine arts and quality crafts.
