The Leelanau Conservancy will hold two events Saturday, June 22, at the DeYoung Natural Area in Elmwood Township.
At 2:45 p.m., docent Richard Fidler will talk about the Conservancy’s plans for controlling invasive species at the DeYoung Area. The program is called “Ecological Restoration at DeYoung, Envision a Revived Landscape.” Call 256-9665 for more information and registration.
The Wings of Wonder open house will also be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. A raptor nest-box building session and a raptor presentation will be held. There is a $25 fee for each nest-box made.
