Loren M. Miller has been commissioned as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force after completing the Air Force ROTC (Reserve Officer Training Corps) program and graduating with a bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University.

Second Lieutenant Miller is the son of John M. Miller and stepson of JoAnn Miller of Cedar. He is a 2003 graduate of Traverse City West Senior High School.

A pilot, Miller will be stationed at Laughlin Air Force Base, Texas.
