County authors and artists will be on hand to discuss their works at the Leland Township Library Friday, June 29, from 2-4 p.m.
Authors Gerry Ashley, Lee Boisvert, Priscilla Coogan, Duncan Sings Alone, Martha Mothershead, Michael Sheehan, Jay Littell, and John Mitchell, and illustrators Kristin Hurlin and Janet Clarkston, will talk about any aspects of their works with the public.
Ashley will discuss his book …And So To France. Boisvert will talk about his experience writing Keewaydinoquay: Stories from My Youth. Coogan and Hurlin will welcome discussions on their latest work Double Time. Mothershead and her mother, Clarkston, will discuss their book Petoskey Stone Soup and encourage children to talk about their reading experiences and ideas.
Sings Alone will clarify any topic or clarify any aspect of his life related to this book Sprinting backwards to God. Sheehan, who co-hosts an talk radio show on WTCM each Tuesday at 9 a.m. called Words to the Wise, will answer any questions about his books On The Lamb in a Doggy Dog World and Words to the Wise: A Lighthearted Look at the English Language.
Littell will talk about his journey into “left-brain limbo” in creating his book Soul Sailing: How your Life Stories can Transform the Voyage. Mitchell will discuss his new book Wood Boats of Leelanau: A Photographic Journal.
