Northport artist Carole Bowker will be featured in a special show and reception, "Hues of Blue: New Works in Jewelry," at By the Bight Art Gallery and Studio on Friday, July 6.

Bowker’s one-of-a-kind designs in semi-precious stones integrate her interest in color, earth and form, with an emphasis on portraying the essence and nuance of nature.

Refreshments will be served. Galleries hours are Wednesday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Sunday, noon to 4 p.m. The gallery is located at 12271 E. Woolsey Lake Rd. in Northport.
