The Leelanau Township Community Foundation announced recipients of its scholarships for 2007.

All of the group’s scholarships were given to Northport High School graduates. Following is a list of the recipients and their scholarships:

• Jacob Egeler received the $2,000 Edwin Studdard and Ruth Kellogg Scholarship for academic excellence.

• Jese Earl received the $2,000 Florence Evett Scholarship for academic excellence.

• Nolan Racich received the $1,000 Kreig Leabo Memorial Scholarship awarded to the graduating senior who demonstrates strong community service.

• Stacia Detweiler received the $500 Alice Busby Memorial Scholarship and the $250 George Anderson Family Scholarship.

• Lauren Browning received the $500 Susan Hirschfield Memorial Scholarship.

• Garrett Korson received the $1,000 Florence Hanes Scholarship.

• Katie Drummond received the $500 Winfield and Dr. Grace Song Line Scholarship.
