Two county youths and a third from Traverse City were injured in an early-morning crash on M-22 south of Western Hills Drive.

Barbara A. Miller, 51, of Traverse City was southbound on M-22 shortly after midnight Saturday when a vehicle driven by Robert Evans, 17, of Western Hills Drive, turned left in front of her, police reports state.

According to reports, Evans was transported to Munson Medical Center along with two passengers — Courtney Kurek, 18, of Suttons Bay and 14-year-old Joseph A. Zunga of Traverse City. Evans was treated and released. No information was available on Kurek, who suffered “apparent” injuries and Zunga, who police reports state had “possible” injuries.

Miller was not injured.

Evans was ticketed for creating a “hazardous action” as a result of the accident.
