I received an anonymous tip regarding the 50th anniversary of Janice and Gordon Waldenmyer and the party that was held at Sunset Cottage given by Carrlin and Brandt Waldenmyer. Congratulations.
The Glen Arbor Fourth of July parade was its usual great time, and there was more candy than ever. I think the parade was the longest yet. The “anything goes parade” is a blast.
Karen and John Soderholm entertained Mr. and Mrs. Wes Nelson, the president and first lady of the National Cherry Festival who were in our parade.
The Empire Lions Club Chicken BBQ will be held during Anchor Days on Saturday, July 21, from 2-8 p.m. Get there early before they run out.
