The Citizens' Council of the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore (SBDNL) will host a meeting with representatives of the National Park Service at 4 p.m. on Thursday, July 19 at the Glen Arbor Township Hall.

A new general management plan for the SBDNL will provide general direction and policy for the next 20 years. A summary of alternatives being considered under the new plan and how areas within the lakeshore will be affected is available online at www.nps.gov/slbe. The plan will be of interest to all property owns in the area since it will impact regional growth, recreational opportunities and potentially property values for decades to come.
