Victor Sineway, 40, 4501 N. Eagle Hwy., Lake Leelanau — Sentenced for assault with intent to commit criminal sexual conduct and assault with intent to commit criminal sexual conduct with penetration; to serve three to five years in the Michigan Department of Corrections with credit for 193 days in jail; $60 state crime victims fund; $60 felony state costs; on the second charge, to serve four to 10 years in the Michigan Department of Corrections with credit for 83 days served; $60 state crime victims fund; $60 felony state costs; sentences to be served concurrently.

James Colson, 51, 838 N. Mill St., Northport — Pleaded guilty under a plea bargain arrangement to third offense drunk driving and attempted resisting and obstructing a police officer; court accepts plea; sentencing scheduled for Monday, Aug. 6.
