Local wineries and restaurants and two blues bands will be featured in the annual Leelanau Peninsula Wine and Food Festival on Saturday, Aug. 11 in Northport.

The Fabulous Horndogs and The Chicago Rhythm and Blues Kings will be featured at the festival.

Wineries from Leelanau and Old Mission peninsulas will offer wines, which will be complemented by local cuisine from local specialty food producers from noon to 6 p.m. at Northport’s Haserot Park.

Admission to the festival is $10 and includes a commemorative wine glass and two free drink tickets.

This year, Cherry Capital Cadillac, Oldsmobile & Subaru has offered the use of a Cadillac for three days and two nights. Inside the car will be a prize package that includes local lodging, dinner and other local gift items. Tickets are $5 each, or 3 for $10, and available now through the day of the festival. The drawing will be held at 5 p.m., Aug. 11.
