ENGAGED: MARISSA L.A. SCHMIDT and CHRISTOPHER G. MILLIRON

Marissa Lynn Alkire Schmidt of Bear Lake and Christopher George Milliron of Sault Ste. Marie have announced their engagement and wedding date.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Robert and Terri Schmidt of Bear Lake. She is a graduate of Bear Lake High School and Lake Superior State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and business management. She is currently working toward a CPA license and is employed at Pleasanton Valley Greenhouses in Bear Lake.

The future groom is the son of George and Lynn Milliron of Maple City. He is a graduate of Glen Lake High School and Lake Superior State University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing and business management. He is employed as a commercial loan representative at Central Savings Bank in Sault Ste. Marie, Mich.

The couple plans an Aug. 25, 2007 wedding at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in Benzonia, and will reside in Sault Ste. Marie.
