1940-2007

Services were held Monday in Grand Rapids for Leelanau County native Larry D. Larson who died July 11. He was 67.

He was born June 21, 1940, in Leelanau Township. His wife, LaDonna, survives.

Raised in Leelanau Township, he moved to Grand Rapids where he owned and operated Larson’s Foods for 27 years.

Also surviving are his children, Dudley (Julie) Larson, Todd Larson and Tena (Steve) Orange; brothers and sisters, Louis Larson, Betty Green, Darlene Timmer and Jim Widdis; and five grandchildren.

Interment was in the Plainfield Township Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to a charity of one’s choice.
