The Cherry Growers, Inc., fruit processing plant in Elmwood Township is still closed after an explosion and fire, forcing cherry growers to bear the expense of shipping crops to the cooperative’s main plant near Grawn.

After meeting with traffic safety officials from the state and receiving numerous requests for more signage, the county Road Commission has placed additional signs at the intersection of Co. Rd. 614 and Co. Rd 641 (Bugai Rd.).
