Good seats are still available for the The Sound of Music.

Tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for students, including those attending college, and are available by calling the box office at 386-5001 or by going online at www.northportcac.org.

All tickets are sold for reserve seating.

“I have tickets available for each performance at this point,” said Norma Neve, executive director of the Northport Center for the Arts. “There really isn’t a bad seat in the house.”

She expects that tickets will also be available at the door.

Performance times for The Sound of Music are 8 p.m. on July 26, 27, 28, Aug. 2, 3, 4, with 3 p.m. matinees set for July 29 and Aug. 5.

The Community Arts Center normally seats up to 450 patrons, but for The Sound of Music will be missing three rows of seats in the front right section of the auditorium.

Sales for opening night have been a hot commodity, as have been inquiries about the last performance on Aug. 5, Neve added.
