Gary L. Speir, 24, 906 Rose Ct., Traverse City — Appeared for an extradition hearing; extradition order signed.

Adam J. Grimm, 27, 1520 W. Carpenter St., Midland — Arraigned for delivery/manufacture of marijuana, possession of firearms by a felon, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony; preliminary hearing scheduled Friday, Aug. 3 at 10:30 a.m.; bond continued.

Nathan A. Fancy, 34, 68459 Dequindre Rd., Oakland — Pleaded guilty under a plea bargain arrangement to driving while impaired; sentencing scheduled for Aug. 10 at 10 a.m.; bond continued.

Robert C. Flaska, 18, 34 E. Mill St., Maple City — Pleaded guilty to a probation violation; to serve seven additional days in jail; Work release granted; to take and pass once daily preliminary breath test until probation officer directs otherwise; probation continued.

Angela B. Hall, 25, 837 Kinross, Traverse City — Pleaded guilty under a plea bargain arrangement to possession of marijuana and attempted resisting and obstructing a police officer; sentencing scheduled for Friday, Aug. 10 at 10 a.m.; bond continued; prosecuting attorney’s motion to revoke bond denied by court.

Robert D. Benbow, 40, 4520 E. Mobile Tr., Traverse City — Appeared for three show cause hearings on failure to pay fine and costs owed; to serve credit for time served in jail; to pay amount owed or set up a payment plan through wage assessment.

Bryan M. Yachcik, 24, 3622 Matador W., Apt. 28, Traverse City — Appeared for a bond violation; bond continued.

Melonie B. Moses, 37, 2592 N. Beems Kwa Ma, Suttons Bay — Arraigned for assault with a dangerous weapon; preliminary hearing scheduled for Friday, Aug. 30 at 10:15 a.m.; bond continued.

Jesse E. Fischer, 28, 6361 N. Manitou Tr., Northport — Pleaded guilty to a probation violation; probation continued; defendant to undergo random evening drug testing; probation officer may order preliminary breath tests at any time.

Nicholas L. Hunter, 26, 800 E. Price, Midland — Arraigned for possession of marijuana, carry a concealed weapon and habitual offender; preliminary hearing scheduled for Friday, Aug. 3 at 10:15 a.m.; bond continued.

Paul G. Peplinski, 19, P.O. Box 134, Cedar — Pleaded guilty under a plea bargain arrangement to first offense alcohol purchase, consumption, possession by a minor; $100 fine; $125 costs; $40 state crime victims fund; not to consume or be in possession of alcohol; six months probation; defendant to get substance abuse assessment and comply with any recommendations from probation officer; if defendant pays all fine and costs and complies with program, court will consider letting defendant out early from probation.
