The Glen Lake Women's Club will host Brent Blackwelder, president of the organization Friends of the Earth, on Wednesday, Aug. 1.

Blackwelder has been an environmental advocate in Washington for more than 30 years. He will speak on global warming, biofuels and other environmental topics, and will welcome questions from the public.
