Barbara K. Windham

Services will be held later this summer for Barbara Katherine Windham of Bingham Township who died July 13 at Munson Hospice House. She was 68.

She was born Nov. 17, 1938, in Detroit, the daughter of Richard and Zelma (Ashford) Riedrich. On Sept. 10, 1962, in Ferndale, she married Franklin Edward Windham who predeceased her on Aug. 9, 1996.

She was a professional musician and classical singer for more than 40 years. She and her husband built their home in Leelanau County almost 20 years ago.

She is survived by her two children, Jay F. Windham of Grand Blanc and Julie Windham of Suttons Bay; and two grandchildren.
