Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. or 6 to 8 p.m. today, July 26, at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home in Traverse City, with a rosary service at 7:30 p.m., for Christopher Stephen Mort of Traverse City who died July 22 near Manistee. He was 43.

On May 19, 2007, he married Katie-Whittaker-Mort, the daughter of Stuart and Velvet Whittaker of Bingham Township.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Traverse City where visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Following, committal services will be at Oakwood Cemetery.
