Perry and Judith Egeler of Lake Leelanau and Brooksville, Fla., celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 15.

Perry Egeler and the former Judith Gildarski were married on June 15, 1957 at the First Lutheran Church in Suttons Bay. The maid of honor was Mary Jane Gildarski, and Don Priest was the best man.

The couple marked their golden anniversary at the Holiday Inn in Traverse City on June 16 in a celebration hosted by Peri Ann and Bob Raushi, Ellen and Steve Pogerski, and Nancy Murphy.
