Orchestra at Interlochen.

Andrew Bahle and Colin Brazeau are both performing with the world renowned orchestra. Bahle plays percussion and Brazeau plays viola.

The orchestra has nine performances throughout the summer and has already played with noted musicians like saxophonist Branford Marsalis and violinist Joshua Bell. The group’s final concerts will be Sunday, when it will perform Mahler’s Resurrection Symphony, and Sunday, Aug. 5 in a performance of Les Preludes.

Bahle was one of 52 students to receive an Emerson Scholarship. Emerson is a global company that produces products from climate control technologies and home appliance motors to ceiling fans and computer power surge protectors.

By winning one of the Emerson honors, Bahle earned a full-ride to Interlochen’s summer camp program. He is studying percussion and will be a sophomore at Traverse City West High School this fall. Bahle also performs with the jazz, symphony and marching bands at T-C West.
