The Manitou Music Festival will welcome Aoife Clancy to the stage Wednesday, Aug. 22.
Aoife is from the small Irish town of Carrick-on-Suir and blends traditional Irish songs and ballads with contemporary folk. Local musician Jenny Thomas will be the opening act for the performances, which begin at 8 p.m. at the Lake Street Studio Stage in Gene Arbor.
Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door, and available in Glen Arbor at the Glen Arbor Art Association or Lake Street Studios, Cedar City Market in Cedar, and Oryana Food Cooperative in Traverse City.
