Violinist Gabriel Bolkosky will perform concert with special guest Michele Cooker on Thursday, Aug. 30 at The Leelanau School.

Bolkosky is the executive director of the Phoenix Ensemble, an Ann Arbor-based nonprofit arts organization dedicated to helping artists and the community. He released a solo album, This and That, in 2005 that features classical and jazz music.

Cooker has participated in many festivals and performed concerts throughout the U.S., Canada and Mexico.

Tickets for the 8 p.m. performance are $15 in advance and $18 at the door, and available at the Glen Arbor Art Association and Lake Street Studios. For more information, call the Glen Arbor Art Association at 334-6112.
