Synopsis of regular board meeting August 14, 2007.

Meeting called to order at 7:00 p.m. All board members present. Also present Bob Dezelski, Ron Williams, Mark Galla and Steve Hooper, applicant for Cedar Fire Dept. full time EMT position.

Twp. July minutes approved as corrected to read: No bon-fires permitted on the beach at the Township Park.

Treasurer’s report reviewed and accepted.

The Twp. Board discussed the Mich. Court of Appeals results of Houdeks Pumping Service vs. Centerville Twp. The Appeals Court reaffirmed previous court rulings as it is regulated by the DNR-DEQ and Twp. Ordinance in the Land Application and denied Septage Storage Structures since other waste water treatment or septage treatment facilities are available. Joint Solon-Centerville Fire meeting scheduled for August 21, 2007 at the Cedar Fire Station at 7:00 pm.

Motion supported to pay all invoices.

Meeting adjourned at 9:25 pm.
