The Leland Class of 1947 met for its 60th anniversary last weekend in Lake Leelanau and Leland.
Six of the members of the class of 19 were present Sunday for a potluck dinner at the home of Marvin and Gwenn Egeler in Lake Leelanau. The previous night, the group met at the Bluebird for dinner.

Those present were: Dorothy and Phil Walter; Bud and Janet Watson of Traverse City; Beverly and Joe Neal and daughter Lida from Albuquerque, N.M.; Lowell Cate and friend from Cedar; Joe Shimek and friend from Maple City; and the Egelers from Lake Leelanau.
