Looking for a new after school activity?

The Leelanau Children’s Choir/Youth Ensemble will hold auditions for its 15th season the first week in September.

Margaret Bell directs the program, which provides students the opportunity to grow and thrive in an atmosphere dedicated to the development of choral music knowledge, techniques and performance.

The skills also promote self-confidence, self-esteem and the concept of commitment to personal and group achievement.

Rehearsals begin Sept. 10 for the annual Madrigal Christmas concert slated for Dec. 7 and 8.
