The Leelanau Club at Bahle Farms will be the setting for the St. Mary School 2007 Golf Classic to be held Friday, Sept. 14.

All golfers are welcome to participate, and can register a team of four by calling school business manager Lori Schaub at 256-9676. The fee is $100 per golfer, which includes dinner. Check-in is at noon, and dinner in the clubhouse follows the afternoon of golf. Dinner for non-golfers is $15.

With a hole-in-one, players may win a cash prize of $10,000, a Sharp LCD television, a set of

Callaway golf clubs or two round-trip airline tickets for travel in the U.S. In addition, a random drawing to kick off the event will give one golfer a chance to putt from 40 feet and win $5,000.

Additional information is available by calling committee member Roger Schaub at 883-4644. Fellow event volunteers include Kathy Boone, Beth Fleck, Bill Schaub Jr., Loren Schaub and Tim Schaub.

All proceeds will help offset the school’s operational expenses for the 2007-08 school year.
