Bay Chamber Strings is seeking string players of all ages to join the group for its fourth season beginning Sept. 11.

Last year, a second ensemble was created, Prelude Chamber Strings, to give less experienced performers a chance to hone their skills and perform alongside the more advanced Bay Chamber Strings.

Rehearsals for both ensembles take place on Tuesday evenings at Central United Methodist Church in Traverse City.

“Low stress” auditions for either ensemble will be held by appointment and can be scheduled by calling the conductor, Lynne Tobin, at 271-2880.
